The Silver Appleyard is an endangered British breed of domestic duck. It was bred in the first half of the twentieth century by Reginald Appleyard, with the aim of creating a dual-purpose breed that would provide both a good quantity of meat and plenty of eggs.
The Appleyard room is a large superking room, with views across the farm yard and up the fields towards Slad.
Our Appleyard room has a good sized bathroom with floor to ceiling marble tiles. A bath with a large rainfall shower head (as well as traditional hand held option) over it, superb LED lit mirror with built in de-mister, lovely underfloor heating and quality complimentary toiletries.
Please note this room is situated above the kitchen therefore there is some noise that will travel up during Breakfast service.
